Redstar Wu & The Worldwide Scourge sees Genesis Owusu pushing his boundary-blurring sound even further—delivering a bold, genre-defying album that fuses hip hop, punk, funk, soul and experimental electronics into something uniquely his own.
Known for his explosive creativity and theatrical storytelling, Owusu channels themes of identity, paranoia, fame, rebellion and self-destruction through a record that feels chaotic, cinematic and deeply personal all at once. Shifting between razor-sharp rap flows, infectious grooves and intense vocal performances, the album captures the restless energy and fearless experimentation that have made him one of the most exciting artists in contemporary music.
Across 2LP, Redstar Wu & The Worldwide Scourge moves through wildly different sonic landscapes while remaining cohesive in its vision—balancing humour, darkness and emotional vulnerability with striking confidence. The result is a vibrant and unpredictable listening experience that constantly challenges expectations.
Pressed on fluoro yellow vinyl, this edition perfectly matches the album’s vivid personality and larger-than-life energy. Redstar Wu & The Worldwide Scourge is ambitious, uncompromising and unmistakably Genesis Owusu.
